I Made a Sock!

Yep, that’s right…a sock…just one lol.  Although I am about halfway through the second.  I’ve tried many times to make socks (both knit and crochet), mainly just so I could use some of that pretty sock yarn, but I’ve never finished one because my feet seem to be an odd shape.  So of course none of the patterns fit my feet correctly.  A couple weeks ago, however, I went to Michael’s for my weekly visit, and I saw that they had started carrying some sock yarn by Paton’s and it was stretchy.  And to top it all off, they were on sale =)  So naturally I bought some.  Then, thanks to Ravelry, I found this pattern for ribbed socks…and they fit!  I am pretty excited, soon I will have some handmade socks!  I don’t know why this is so exciting, but it is =)
