Branching Out

Yesterday my husband had several buddies over to play video games, so I decided to spend that time crocheting something mindless (since the sound of guns and zombies was kind of loud lol).  I found this cute cardigan pattern and decided that my daughter needed it!  It was really quick and easy so I was able to finish most of it yesterday.  I’ve never crocheted any kind of clothing (hats and stuff don’t count), so I was kind of anxious to see if it would work.  Fortunately it mostly did, although I think I messed up slightly on the decreasing for the top half, but it still works well enough.
